Romeo Y Julieta Anejados Churchill Tubos

Romeo Y Julieta Anejados Churchill in Tubos is the latest release from the Anejados series from Habanos. So far, there have been 5 cigars released in the series, and this being the second from the Romeo Y Julieta marca.

These boxes are stamped “REVISADO FEB 07”. Essentially, we can assume that these are old boxes of Churchills, that have been ageing in Havana since 2007, with the added “ANEJADOS” bands on the boxes, as well as on each cigar. The original cardboard box has been placed into a branded ROMEO Y JULIETA ANEJADOS box to differentiate it from a regular 2007 release box. It has an attractive aesthetic.

The cigars are what counts though. These cigars look and feel incredible. The aromas are intense, as they have been ageing in the Tubos, which in my opinion, enhance the ageing process.

Habanos notes that each of the cigars have been checked one by one, and that this special edition will be available in limited quantities.

This cigar is exceptional! From the first few puffs, I taste a creaminess that you would expect from the classic Romeo Churchill. The cigar is dark, oily and has surely benefited from being in a tubos for over 12 years.

There are notes of vanilla, toffee, and it develops as you go along.
