Every year in late February, many of us our accustomed to heading over to Havana to celebrate the Habanos Festival.  As with all things, life is not as it once was.  In lieu of the annual gathering, Habanos organized the first ever “Habanos World Days”.

The event has a 3 day schedule, mainly dedicated to showcasing the new cigars which will eventually make it to the store shelves.  Here is a preview of the new cigars that will see the shipping docks of Havana in the near future.

This year marks the 55th anniversary of Habanos’ most prestigious and flagship brand, Cohiba.  Here are the new Cohiba’s that will be launched:

  • Limited Edition 2021 Cohiba 55th Anniversario

  • Collection Habanos – Book Humidor.  This will be limited to 3000 pieces, each containing 20 Cohiba “Idealas” cigars.

  • Regular production Cohiba “Ambar” which will be released in boxes of 10.

Other Limited Editions for 2021 include:

  • Hoyo De Monterrey Monterreys No. 4 Limited Edition 2021

  • Bolivar NAME TBC Limited Edition 2021

There will be a Gran Reserva cigar launched.

  • Partagas Serie E No. 2, Cosecha 2015.  Limited to 5000 boxes.

Many cigar aficionados will be happy to learn of the latest Montecristo being added to the portfolio.  The Montecristo “Wide Edmundo”.

As of yet, sizes and release dates were not announced.  We expect more news in the coming days.
