March 2023, Havana, Cuba
The annual Habanos Festival that takes customarily takes place during the last week of February is marked by the launch and unveiling of new cigars presented by Habanos S.A. Here is a summary of what we can look forward to seeing in the shops in the coming months. Bolivar – New Gold Medal. La Casa del Habano Exclusive

Box Count: 10 Box count
The Wednesday night gala of the Habanos festival was dedicated to the launch of the highly anticipated Bolivar “New Gold Medal”. For many aficionados, the original Bolivar Gold Medal, discontinued in 2011, was a true favorite because of it’s wonderful size, flavor and the unique gold foil that wrapped half of the cigar. For the first time at the Habanos Festival, the cigars introduced that evening were actually on sale during the gala. As soon as the sale started, guests lined up and were able to purchase 2 boxes per ticket. It was a bazar type frenzy when some clients collected 20 or 30 tickets and proceeded to purchase way above their allowed quantity. And so, not all the guests were able to purchase a box.

Partagas – Linea Maestra
The closing gala evening dinner was dedicated to the launch of the Partagas “Linea Maestra”. In line with the Romeo Y Julieta “Linea D’Oro”, the Cohiba Behike, and the Montecristo Linea 1935 series, the Maestra is positioned on the higher end of the Partagas porfolio. All 3 cigars have a rounded tip which makes them very unique and stand out from the rest.

Just wanted to say, your site is fantastic and I look forward to trying a few boxes of some of the best cigars you have. Been smoking since 71 and look forward to some madero shade wrap as I like the leather smooth smoke the best. I live in San Francisco, nothing like having a great smoke in the fog on a clear night. Looking forward to finding new cigars and tasting them with a shot 15 year old Pappy Van Winkle or two just to get things started. Our members at the San Francisco Brokers Club enjoy a fine cigar after our Morton’s Steakhouse dinners once a month. It’s a financial brokers get together at a great steakhouse and great cigars to have.
